Chief People Officer

Member of the Executive Management Board Dr. Hron joined gategroup in October 2022 as Chief People Officer, a position she previously held for Europe & Middle East at Compass Group. Starting from a background in organizational psychology, she brings to her work in the catering industry two decades of executive leadership experience in several other sectors at market-leading companies such as Munich RE, Novartis / Sandoz and Danone. Dr. Hron's responsibilities at gategroup cover People & Organization, Corporate Communication and ESG. She is a member of the Executive Board, and an ambassador for gategroup’s values of excellence, responsibility, passion and respect.

Yulia Bolotina

Global Head of ESG

Yulia joined gategroup in January 2023 as the Global Head of ESG, based at the corporate Head Office in Zurich, Switzerland. She has over 15 years’ experience in strategy and project management, with a specialty in designing and leading sustainability programs with cross-functional teams in multi-cultural settings. Yulia has worked in a variety of industries (finance, food, and industrial production), and in her previous function led the Corporate Sustainability team at Georg Fischer. “ESG is a business imperative. It is an exciting time to be working in this field, as all of our internal and external stakeholders are motivated to discuss and work on finding collaborative solutions for common issues and goals.”

Mario Faustini

VP Operational Excellence and Standards, Operations Lead

Mario joined gategroup in 2018. He has +15 years of experience in Operations Transformation Programs, with 10 years of expertise in airline industry operations. He obtained his PhD from University of Texas at Austin and is Currently leading the Global Operational Process Standardization program (gateOpex), as well as the Global Operational Compliance function at our company. “It is truly exciting to see the new and focused commitment of our teams and the entire leadership in supporting the development of an ambitious and robust ESG strategy for gategroup, one that makes us all proud of participating and contributing to, and that brings alive our shared values and will to create a continuously positive impact for our customers, our employees and our planet.”

Dave Taylor

Global Communications Director

Dave is Global Communications Director at gategroup, having joined in 2021. Born in Canada, he has worked in China and Germany before coming to Switzerland. Dave brings more than two decades’ experience in corporate editorial, publishing and communications, including sustainability and integrated reporting. “Waste not, want not is an old expression, but very true. Sustainable business is, at its heart, good business. We owe it to our host communities, our people, our shareholders our customers, and our collective future to do what is best for us all – now and going forward.”

Tu-Anh Pham

Chief Operational Excellence and Compliance Officer

Tu-Anh joined gategroup in 2016 as Senior Regional Manager of Quality and Food Safety Americas. She transitioned to gategroup’s Head Office in Zurich, Switzerland in 2019 as Director of Global Compliance Systems and Analysis, and then in 2021 as Global Director of Operations Compliance. Tu-Anh currently serves as the Chief Operational Excellence and Compliance Officer for North West Europe and oversees a team of experts in the areas of Operational Excellence, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Security, and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). “ESG initiatives can be a good mechanism to drive changes within an individual, an organization, and an industry. When we are connected with our employees, customers, suppliers, and communities by the same conscious mission, we will begin to understand the interconnectedness of all things as one and of this place we share as home.”

Tijani Djaziri

VP HR Digitalization and Organisation & Rewards

Tijani joined gategroup in 2017, and has 15+ years of experience in HR across various roles and international companies. Over the past decade, he has focused extensively on the implementation, maintenance, and governance functionalities of HR processes and initiatives on global scales. “Participation into the ESG global project is another step into the social evolution of the contemporary world trend to bring the company closer to the standards of environmental and social governance and be ready to tackle the new challenges related to these concerns.”

Bernhard Rabian

VP Procurement

Bernhard joined gategroup in 1999 as Director of Supply Chain Management in gategroup’s Swiss operation. Since joining the company he has been part of many changes and is pleased to see how far gategroup has come. In his current role, he is part of the Group Procurement Leadership team based out of Zurich. “The way we approach sustainability is evolving. This is visible through our work on raw materials, supply partners and packaging."

Martijn de Kiewit

Group Compliance Officer

Martijn is the Group Compliance Officer for gategroup. Before gategroup he worked at other multinational companies in the food and chemical industry, where he was responsible for setting up the general compliance management system and coordinating remediation actions towards compliance violations. He has more than 20 years of experience with compliance and sustainability management. Besides his work he is a part time teacher Business Ethics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. 'We have a high ambition for ESG within gategroup, which means that we see it as part of Compliance Management to adhere to the sustainability standards that we set for ourselves.'
